"Poop" was AnneТs worst word, at least so
far. And when she used it, she put all so
much emphasis on it the word became an
epithet.

"ItТs my dress," Echea said. She sounded
calm and contained, but I thought there
was a raggedness to her voice that hadnТt
been there the day before. "ItТs all I
have."
