For thousands of years the drow have lived in darkness, virtually trapped in the vast caverns and endless tunnels of the Underdark by the limits of their magic.

Liriel's story continues as she and her companion, Fyodor of Rashemen, take to the seas.

On the distant isle of Ruathym, they find themselves entangled in the ambitions of Northmen warriors, drow priestesses, and a strange creature who rules a legendary undersea realm. For the first time, Liriel begins to understand that her personal quest might have far broader consequences than she'd even dreamed possible.

WINDWALKER

Liriel has achieved her goal: her drow powers are hers to command wherever she might go. Her companion, Fyodor of Rashemen, has mastered his out-of-control berserker rages. The future seems bright for the companions as they set out to return the Windwalker amulet to the Witches of Rashemen, for Fyodor has reason to believe that Liriel will be welcomed in his homeland.
But Liriel's enemies follow her still. Chief among them is a drow goddess whom Liriel, whether she knows it or not, continues to serve...
