Myself, I think IТd rather send
Young Goldie to a sticky end.
СOh daddy!Т cried the Baby Bear,
СMy porridge gone! It isnТt fair!Т
СThen go upstairs,Т the Big Bear said,
СYour porridge is upon the bed.
СBut as itТs inside mademoiselle,
СYouТll have to eat her up as well.Т

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD
AND THE WOLF

As soon as Wolf began to feel
That he would like a decent meal,
He went and knocked on GrandmaТs door.
When Grandma opened it, she saw
The sharp white teeth, the horrid grin,
And Wolfie said, СMay I come in?Т
Poor Grandmamma was terrified,
СHeТs going to eat me up!Т she cried.
And she was absolutely right.
He ate her up in one big bite.
But Grandmamma was small and tough,
And Wolfie wailed, СThatТs not enough!
СI havenТt yet begun to feel
СThat I have had a decent meal!Т
He ran around the kitchen yelping,
СIТve got to have another helping!Т
Then added with a frightful leer,
СIТm therefore going to wait right here
СTill Little Miss Red Riding Hood
СComes home from walking in the wood.Т
He quickly put on GrandmaТs clothes,
(Of course he hadnТt eaten those.)
He dressed himself in coat and hat.
He put on shoes and after that
He even brushed and curled his hair,
Then sat himself in GrandmaТs chair.
In came the little girl in red.
She stopped. She stared. And then she said,
СWhat great big ears you have, Grandma.Т
СAll the better to hear you with,Т the Wolf replied.
СWhat great big eyes you have, Grandma,Т
said Little Red Riding Hood.
СAll the better to see you with,Т the Wolf replied.
He sat there watching her and smiled.
He thought, IТm going to eat this child.
