Tom and Sweyn talked about life at the academy for
awhile. Then J guess Tom figured things had been nice

and dull long enough and it was time to get Papa all riled

"When do you want me to start working with you at
the Advocate?" he asked Papa.

Our father was editor and publisher of the Adenville

Weekly Advocate, the only newspaper in town. He also
did all the printing in Adenville.

"S. D. did a very good job last summer," Papa said.
"I see no reason to change that."

"You can help out when we have a big printing job,"
