IтАЩm one of those writers who hate the old axiom тАЬWrite what you know.тАЭ First,
because when youтАЩre dedicated to writing speculative fiction there has to be some
point where you take a leap into the infinite unknown and, second, IтАЩve always had
these rather odd interests. Ultimately, however, it was those odd interests that got me
