your territory against that many people?"

"With conversation and reason and compromise whenever possible, as I did
with you people. With force, when that fails. But make no mistake about
it: we will reclaim our territory."

Lois looked at the Rebels standing close by, men and women in the
absolute peak of physical condition, eyes and skin glowing with health.
She sighed. "Is your philosophy worth all the killing, General?"
