Midge stabbed the black woman without mercy, ripping her throat with
her shiv while her knee hit the woman in the gut. Another woman appeared
out of the fog. Midge stared at her for a moment before she realized they
were on the same side.

тАЬI know that, but there's nothing we can do about it. It's sad to say,
but the fewer of them left when it's over can only be good news for us.
