Judd wished Vicki had told him she was going with or without him. He would have at least made her
promise to call him once in a while so heтАЩd know she was all right. Now how would he get word to her
about school? Loudspeakers began blaring late Friday night, informing residents to tune in certain radio
and TV emergency-broadcast stations.
