Brad Linaweaver's
The Land Beyond Summer
Fay and Clive knew they were in trouble when their dead grandfather's lunatic ravings began
to come true. Then they knew his magic was real. After dealing with talking wallpaper and
zombie parents, these two teenagers take a journey to the land where the seasons begin ... and
where their grandfather, now a powerful wizard named Malak, threatens to destroy the seasons forever.
This new fantasy from a master of horrific suspense deals with the traditional theme of Good versus
Evil, as well as coping with divorced parents. Fans of C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien will
love this instant classic!
Praise for The Land Beyond Summer
I was so taken by THE LAND BEYOND SUMMER that I couldn't put
it down. It is extremely well written. Brad Linaweaver has done
an excellent book that is very much out of the ordinary. I loved
the cats!
-- ANDRE NORTON
THE LAND BEYOND SUMMER shows an impressive inventiveness.
It reminds me a little of the first Oz books, in that something
new and unexpected pops up twice or three times a chapter, and
yet it all hangs together. It has some nice, spooky touches,
too, along with the fantastic elements.
-- BRAD STRICKLAND
