Or he might have gotten snowed in at work. It was almost a relief to find his side of the bed empty- When did I last love him? she wondered. 1 did, once. I know ft. I remember thinking the day began with his ftrst kiss; thinking the world would end without it. I remember when just looking at him made me happy. I remember feel- ing warm when he smiled at me.
