Molly heard a scuffling down the path, and turned to find a handful of servants peering at her through
the arching branches of the trees and the lace of the ferns. She smiled at them and they prostrated
themselves, then turned and fled.

тАЬThe word is out,тАЭ Seolar said. тАЬI could punish them for such impertinenceтАжbut I wonтАЩt. We thought
the vey├вr were doomed; that they want to see for themselves that we once again have hope, wellтАжI
wonтАЩt blame them for that.тАЭ

Molly smiled. тАЬNo. IтАЩm sorry I so stupidly took hope away from them, even for a little while.тАЭ

Seolar kissed her again.

When the food came back, it tasted wonderful, and Molly discovered that she was ravenous. She ate
seconds of everything and thirds of the delicious fruit dessert.

Seolar watched her eating long after heтАЩd finished with an expression of bemusement. тАЬI donтАЩt know
why IтАЩm so hungry,тАЭ she said. тАЬMaybe coming back took a lot out of me.тАЭ She frowned. тАЬWell, noтАФ
there was nothing in meтАжтАЭ She shrugged. тАЬI feel like I havenтАЩt seen food in a year, though, and this is
so wonderful. And IтАЩm so grateful the kitchen made extra.тАЭ

Seolar leaned his chin on one cupped hand and said, тАЬDo you think youтАЩll be this hungry at every meal
now? I may have to find more cooks.тАЭ He grinned at her and Molly laughed.

тАЬI donтАЩt know. I donтАЩt think so. ItтАЩs just that this is the first thing IтАЩve eaten. And I didnтАЩt even know I
was so hungry.тАЭ

тАЬThereтАЩs more if you want it,тАЭ Seolar said.

Molly leaned back in her chair and sighed. тАЬYou know, I donтАЩt think I do. Finally.тАЭ

SeolarтАЩs smile broadened. тАЬGood. Because I donтАЩt think there was that much more.тАЭ

Molly laughed, then leaned forward. тАЬIn the next few days, weтАЩll have so much to do. But tonightтАФ
tonight we donтАЩt have to do anything in particular, do we?тАЭ

тАЬCertainly not. Why?тАЭ
