The grass, dotted with patches of sagebrush, stretched away from sky to sky, with sunflower plants rising
as high as Do-na-ti's head. The meandering ravines that broke the prairie with their runnels were hidden
beneath gray-green and tan-green layers. Above him clouds sailed over, tall and frightening shapes from
which lightning or devil winds could descend at times to devastate the People who lived on the land.
