Every one who holds a religious belief no matter which one they hold is a matter of conditioning. I was watching a program on television about a religious practice in India were rats are worshiped. The devotees eat out of the same plate, and share their food with the rats. A child was observing his father sharing food with the rats. In a few more years, this child will be teaching his son this same behavior. Most every religious person goes through the same conditioning process, as did this Indian child. No matter what religion one is heir to if you were that child you too would be dining with the rats. |
