the session. In the chair along the outer wall sat her new saKhan,
Franklin Hallis. It was a shame that Franklin had come for his first
and possibly last day of ever seeing a session. She remembered a

time when she was proud to sit at the council table. Now that time
had passed, it was tainted by the people around her. McEvedy was
willing to press matters with the Grand Council to defend her Clan.
Even if the risks associated with it placed her people at risk. They
are already at risk, they simply do not realize it.
