The kid held out his hands. "O.K., Coppy. Take me away. Just make sure you never let me out. I
never tell lies when I make promises."
Edelman relaxed. Behind him the other girl sniffed. The girl who was standing next to the boy turned
her face to the wall and started crying.
"Let's go," Fracarro said. "Class is over."
