SUMMARY OF CASE HISTORY ONE

Raised in a middle class family of strivers, fifteen-year-old Bobby T. found himself the victim of class prejudice. His mother was ambitious for him to function socially in a more wealthier social level. Boys and girls from the upper middle class were not prepared to accept youth. He found himself a victim of snobbery and discrimination when he tried to date girls from wealthier families. His mother, a nagger, gave him no peace and refused to listen to reason. She kept urging him to associate with children from a much higher social class.

While the handsome boy was seduced by his forty-year-old aunt, Bobby T. responded to the older woman's seduction since he was completely turned off by the girls he had been forced to date. And once he became ensnared in the pleasures of incest, he found that he enjoyed the situation. Encouraged by both his aunt and uncle to continue incestuous, sexual acts, the boy associated the act of copulating with his much older aunt as normal, behavioural rear flees.

Psychologist Theodor Reik in his authoritative The Need To Be Loved, the necessity for the adolescent boy or girl to find acceptance from his immediate family. Since Bobby T. didn't find acceptance from his own mother, he turned to his aunt and uncle. They were willing to accept him on an incestuous basis. The desperate boy agreed to have sexual relations with his aunt for her love and understanding. As long as he performed sexually for his aunt and uncle, they gave him the warmth and love he needed.
