Brad is one of a cadre of writers who live in and near Austin, Texas. He
writers, тАЬтАШWe Love LydiaтАЩ evolved from my observation that people tend to indulge
in the same kind of self-destructive behaviours and relationships over and over again
тАФ to the extent that they sometimes canтАЩt function if they donтАЩt indulge in those
behaviors or relationships. That observation, combined with some furtive glimpses
into the back alleys of the Austin music, scene, led to the story.
