CYBERNEWS

The recent AT&T announcement of internet access may be good news for
onliners, but prove devastating for independent service providers. Beginning
March 14, ATT&T will provide access to the Net free for 5 hours a month to
its long distance service customers, unlimited access for $19.95. Another
perk of the deal is guaranteed line access (no more busy signals.)

Commercial online services, Compuserve and America Online feel that business
will be enhanced and expanded by AT&T's entry. As information providers with
exclusive content, they note they offer a service distinct from simple
access.

AOL president Ted Leonsis hinted in the WALL STREET JOURNAL that the company
will be making a series of announcements on pricing.

Constitutionally-protected material to public forums on the Internet.

The temporary restraining order bars enforcement of the following section the
CDA that deals with sending indecent speech:

> (a) Whoever --
> (1) in interstate or foreign communications --
> (B) by means of a telecommunications device knowingly --
> (i) makes, creates, or solicits, and
> (ii) initiates the transmission of, any comment, request, suggestion,
> proposal, image, or other communication which is obscene or

indecent,

> knowing that the recipient of the communication is under 18 years of
> age, regardless of whether the maker of such communication placed
