RAY W. MURILL, who wrote the second MARS ATTACKS novel, WAR DOGS OF THE
GOLDEN HORDE, is hard at work on new Destroyer novel (under a different
pseudonym).

STEVE SANSWEET, who will write the Christmas 1997 spectacular STAR WARS
ENCYCLOPEDIA, has left his day job at the Wall Street Journal to work with
Lucasfilm projects fill-time. He has also turned in the special trade
paperback STAR WARS QUOTE BOOK.

BILL SMITH, whose new STAR WARS: THE ESSENTIAL GUIDE TO VEHICLES AND
VESSELS is the companion volume to STAR WARS: THE ESSENTIAL GUIDE TO
CHARACTERS, has also agreed to produce the third book in the series,
currently titled STAR WARS: THE ESSENTIAL GUIDE TO WEAPONS AND
TECHNOLOGY. The art team of Doug Chiang and Troy Vigil are also on board
for the new book.
