The aging process is not always accompanied by a breakdown in physical activity, and capability. To the contrary, as some men and women age, their sexual appetites grow in proportion with their increasing chronological age. Feeling they only have a limited time to live, they are less inhibited and more willing to experiment sexually. When they were young, they were afraid to live out their sexual fantasies for fear of social censure, and even prosecution by the law. But in their sixties and seventies they are unafraid of social and moral edicts. They're going to do their own thing before it's too late.

Beatrice and Harry G. were such a couple. As she grew older, she became less inhibited and her sexual appetite seemed to grow. She wanted sex but with young boys, and her erotic fantasies dictated that these young boys should be selected from her own family. When the couple discovered that puberty-aged boys and even younger had no qualms about having sexual intercourse with an older couple, they acted out all of their previously repressed sexual fantasies. Beatrice G. felt young again, and her husband regained his lost potency. They were both pedophilic and incestuous, and because of their age and beliefs, there was little chance that analysis would convince them sexual activity with young boys was morally wrong. They felt they knew otherwise.
