"Tim Lahaye - Left Behind Kids 12 - Earthquake!" - читать интересную книгу автора (LaHaye Tim)meteor, the earth shook even more.
A wild-eyed man rushed at Vicki and screamed. His head was bleeding, and his right arm hung uselessly at his side. тАЬKill me!тАЭ he shouted over and over. Vicki knew there were other survivors, but this was the first person she had seen up close. тАЬIтАЩll help you,тАЭ Vicki said, putting her hand on his shoulder. The man jerked backward. His chest was heaving with each labored breath. тАЬTheyтАЩre gone,тАЭ he said. тАЬAll dead. IтАЩm the only one who got out alive!тАЭ тАЬBut youтАЩre alive,тАЭ Vicki said. тАЬThatтАЩs good.тАЭ The man ran, tearing at his hair with his good hand. Vicki put a hand to her mouth when she saw where he was going. тАЬNo!тАЭ she screamed. The man stopped at the edge of a crater and looked back. Smoke and flames gushed from the hole. The man gave one last scream and threw himself into the white-hot flames. Judd peeked over the edge of the gorge. The ground was crumbling. He stepped to a small ledge to get a better look at Taylor Graham. He was on his back at the bottom. How could anyone hear the prophecies about the wrath of the Lamb, then experience this and not believe in God? Judd thought. He recalled a comedy show shortly after Buck WilliamsтАЩs article had appeared in Global Community Weekly. The show featured a cartoon of a cute little lamb. Sappy music played in the background. Suddenly the lamb turned fierce and went on a rampage. The audience had laughed. Judd wondered if the people who had drawn that cartoon were laughing now, or if anyone would ever laugh again. A red glow engulfed Judd. He heard a jet pass overhead. Judd looked up and realized it wasnтАЩt a plane but a fiery meteor. It slammed into the earth. The second meteor hit near where Judd had been standing and threw molten rock high into the air. If Judd had stayed where he was, he would have melted from the heat. But he hadnтАЩt stayed at the top of the crater. He had thrown himself down its shifting wall and reached Taylor. The man was too big for him to carry, so he tried to awaken him. Taylorsat up. тАЬWe gotta get you out of here,тАЭ Judd said. |
